The company focuses particularly hard on developing the next generation of the green workforce, as well as blue- and white-collar Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) workers.

The foundation support organizations involved with arts and culture, education, housing, and other areas located near a Saint-Gobain facility. The program is designed to enable each facility to target its financial support according to local needs and priorities. . (

The Saint-Gobain Corporation Foundation Direct Grants program supports non-profit organizations in three major focus areas:
Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Education, especially blue collar and non-traditional STEM programs.
Habitat: The interaction between people, buildings and the environment or sustainable building (energy conservation and environmental concern)
Local Communities: Community development, especially in the area of housing
